ART MANIFESTO

My work explores the chaotic fractal of contemporary sensibilities through a transmedia perspective. Using decontextualization and cut-up techniques as narrative engines, I establish symbolic correlations between everyday reality and the dreamlike.

I embrace the "aesthetics of error" and Glitch not just as a formal choice, but as a Dadaist tool to capture the unexpected. By manipulating digital tools—from hexadecimal editors to custom code—I seek to break the artificiality of standard 3D aesthetics, creating "digital phantasmagorias" that challenge the dispersion of attention in the digital era. For me, creation is a process of metabolic crystallization: a bridge between expressive urgency and genuine connection.

BIO

Javier Galán Rico is a transmedia artist and musician whose aesthetic identity was forged in Barcelona. Born and raised in the city during its peak as a global design capital before 2008, his artistic growth was deeply nurtured by that vibrant, avant-garde environment. While his professional foundations were laid in the 3D animation industry, his true language emerged through a relentless self-taught path and a solid career as an independent creator.

Currently developing his work from a decentralized perspective, this autonomy allowed him to break away from commercial standards to develop a singular aesthetic that draws from symbolism, cinema, and contemporary trash-art. Since 2021, Javier has integrated this visual maturity into the new digital art paradigm, finding the ideal space to fuse his two lifelong passions: image and sound.
